Junior (Grades 6-7)

Purpose

To build Christian character and to encourage pre-teens to form positive relationships, and help them to realize that it is exciting to be a Christian, to provide a fun safe environment to introduce friends to Christ.

Functions

• Organizing social activities once a month
• Preparation of materials for biblical reflection focusing on the kind of Christians we  are to be - to become just like Jesus
• Invite kids to the activities

We are looking for those who enjoy recreational activities with Grade 6-7, and  those with a passion to see the kids get a positive perspective  prior to entering the teen years.

B. SENIOR YOUTH (Grades 8-12)

Purpose

The purpose of the Youth Group is to provide a safe community where teens can have fun, ask questions, find support during this huge transition in life.

Functions

Meetings happen weekly.  Tuesdays  (7:00 - 8:30 p.m.) at the church for interaction on life-related spiritual themes; and Fridays for good clean fun (locations vary).  We also go on a week long project during the spring break, as well as other trips and outings.

Participation

If you love youth, loud music, love to pray, and don't mind going without sleeping, you may just be a potential youth sponsor. We are always looking for drivers on the numerous trips that we take.
